More Detail on New Overtime Regulation
Prepare Now for December Implementation

Despite an onslaught of comments from business and industry leaders asking the federal government to refrain from passing onerous regulations increasing the wage threshold for exempt employees, the Department of Labor has released the final rule updating the overtime regulations.
With a December 1 effective date, businesses have time to determine how they will comply with the new rule, but the U.S. Chamber urges businesses to begin planning sooner rather than later. We will be rolling out more information on implementation moving forward. In the meantime, click here for resources to help you understand the regulations.
